One Page Poetry was conceived as a celebration of the extraordinary art of poetry. It was conceived out of our personal love of this art and the amazing connection that comes with sharing something you’ve written.

Our hope is to encourage writers young and old to pick up a pen or turn on a computer and take up the challenge of writing a poem, a poem without rules (or just the rules that you decide to follow), and then to share it. Share it as the gift that it is. A gift given out of love and without expectations.
Our excitement in creating the One Page Poetry Contest rests on our belief that no one can replicate the words that a poet creates, and that is an amazing realization. Whether you are writing a poem that is eight lines or eighty lines, we believe that the burst of creativity that comes alive with your words is unique to you and only you.
At One Page Poetry, we believe in the bond between head, heart, and soul and the words that express that bond.
